Privacy Policy
Last updated August 23, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Invoxura handles your data. By using the service, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Two Kinds of Document
Invoxura produces two kinds of document, and they are treated differently:
- Slips — quick bills and receipts. Slip content is never stored on our servers. A slip exists only in your browser until you download it.
- GST invoices — full tax invoices. Because these must be retrievable, amendable, and re-downloadable, GST invoice content is stored on our servers under your account.
Which kind you are creating is always shown before you start. If you do not want a document held on our servers, create a slip rather than a GST invoice.
2. What We Collect
- Account Information: Your name, email address, and profile picture, obtained through Google Sign-In when you create an account.
- Credit Balance: A numerical record of the credits you have purchased and spent. No payment card numbers, UPI handles, or banking details are ever stored on our servers — all payment processing is handled entirely by our payment provider.
- Saved Business Profiles: The business details you save for reuse — business name, address, GSTIN, bank details, and logo — are stored on our servers under your account so they can pre-fill your documents.
- GST Invoice Content: For GST invoices, we store the document itself — parties, line items, tax breakdown, and totals — so you can list, edit, and re-download it later.
3. What We Do NOT Collect
- Slip content is never stored. Customer names, line items, and amounts on a slip are never written to our servers. A slip is sent to us only for the moment it takes to draw the PDF, is not written down, and is discarded as soon as the file is sent back to you.
- We do not collect location data, contacts, device identifiers for tracking, or browsing activity outside the service.
- We do not store payment instrument details of any kind.
4. How We Use Your Information
- Account Management: Your name and email identify your account and its credit balance.
- Service Delivery: Your credit balance is checked when you request a clean PDF download, to determine whether the download should be authorized. Your saved business profile is used to pre-fill documents. Stored GST invoices are used to show you your own invoice history.
- No Marketing: We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, behavioural analytics, or any purpose beyond operating the service described above.
5. Third-Party Services
- Payment Processing: Credit purchases are handled by a regulated third-party payment provider. You complete payment on the provider's own secure checkout page, and we receive only a confirmation that the payment succeeded or failed. No card, UPI, or bank details pass through or are stored on our servers.
- Google Sign-In: Authentication is handled by Google. We receive only your name, email address, and profile picture.
- No Data Selling: We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to any third party, under any circumstances.
6. Data Security
- All information sent between your browser and our servers is encrypted while in transit.
- We apply industry-standard measures to protect the information we hold and to keep your signed-in session secure.
- All stored information, including your business profiles and invoices, is securely encrypted at rest on our servers to ensure absolute confidentiality.
7. Data Retention & Your Responsibility
- Slips are not retained by us. A slip is not saved at all — download the PDF before leaving the page, because closing it loses the slip. We are not responsible for slip data lost through closing a page before downloading.
- GST invoices are retained under your account until you delete them or your account is deleted. You can delete any stored invoice yourself from your invoice list.
8. Data Deletion
You may delete individual stored GST invoices at any time from your invoice list. Deleting an invoice removes its content from our servers. We keep a record that a download took place — but not the document itself — because that record is what supports your credit balance and lets us resolve any billing question you raise.
An option to delete your entire account, along with all the information we hold about it, is in progress and will be available in a future update.
